Deep in Thought

Spectra sat, deep in thought. He let out a sigh. "What to do..." He said to himself. Then he heard something behind him. In no time flat, he bolted up, turned around, and grabbed the guy by the front of his shirt. It was none other than-

Gus. "M-Master Spectra! Your reflexes are as good as always, I see!" Gus said, gently removing Spectra's hand from the front of his shirt. "I just wanted to check in on you. I can tell you're thinking about something, and you're not happy. What's up" He asked, genuine concern in his eyes.

Ace was training in the canyons, when he heard something. He followed the noise to see Spectra holding the front of Gus's shirt. He waited until he let go, and until Gus finished speaking.
"Am I interrupting anything?" He asked, with a smirk on his face.

Gus stepped back, surprised. "N-no! It's not what it looks like! I-we... Master Spectra!" He asked, hoping that Spectra would help him out a bit.

Spectra quickly composed himself, and shot Ace a nasty look. "I was just about to show this moron what happens when you sneak up on the great Spectra. After all, we have nothing to do with each other anymore, now that all the dilemma is over and done with."
